SHOULD WE BOIL THE WATER TO PREPARE THE FEEDING BOTTLE?

4.-Conclusion
* In short, we can state that one minute of boiling (at sea level) is enough and prevent the extra risk of ionic excess.
  • We must continue keeping the recomendation of washing one´s hands always before preparing the feeding bottle. An alternative to the boiling of drinking water is the use of bottled hypomineralized water wich has no virus, bacteriums or protozoes in it by definition.
  • To finish off, till wich age must we support this suggestion?.
  • Probably until the ninth or twelfth month of life since from this age infants go on all fours and it seems to be incongruoous boiling the water and not preventing the dirtinesss of their hands touching the ground and their mouthes later.
