1.- Recommendation

Fluoride content in drinking water

* More than 1 mg/l can cause dental fluorosis if it is taken continuously during first years of life.

* Between 0,3 and 1 mg/l : the child must not take fluoride supplements

* Less than 0,3 mg/l : depending on the risk of caries the pediatrician and the dentist will decide if further fluoride supplements are given
